Located between Forest and Ocean Avenue in a walkway near Rocky Mountain Chocolate.

In early June, 2004 a fabulous 32’ mural was completed by the students at Laguna College of Art and Design with the support of a $2800 grant from CAP for the needed scaffolding, paint, and prep materials. The piece, located between Forest and Ocean Avenue in a walkway near Rocky Mountain Chocolate, presents vibrant colors depicting sweeping views of Laguna and figures representing our diverse climate, ecology and life in a beach city. Students from Mia Tavonatti’s graduating senior class contributed to the project as part of their curriculum requirements.

The combination of visual beautification, advancement of art education for both residents and students is in direct alignment with CAP’s mission, leading CAP President Julita Jones to comment, “This is right up our alley.”

According to Ms. Tavonatti, “This project would never have happened without the funding supplied by Community Art Project.”In early June, 2004 a fabulous 32’ mural was completed by the students at Laguna College of Art and Design with the support of a $2800 grant from CAP for the needed scaffolding, paint, and prep materials.
